Tips For Buying A Car Seat

How can you tell if the baby car seat you purchased is an authentic one? By checking the safety features that come with it. Some of the important factors to consider include a harness that holds the baby securely and a lockable headrest so that the baby's head stays in place. To prevent the baby from rolling out of the seat, check the size of the belt-position indicator. Some car seats have a small or medium print that only shows up about an inch away from the infant's face. The belt indicator should be at least two inches away from the baby's face to be effective. If the car seat you purchased has a thumb hole so that you can easily reach the ignition button and the breaks, check to see if the plugs are of the same size. The plugs should be not more than half an inch apart. Otherwise, the plugs may not fit properly and the seat can't be fully plugged into the socket. The problem with buying a particular type of car seat is that it may not meet the
